One of the things that has become apparent in 2020 is how valuable and effective video is. People have had a taste of being able to access content and explore locations without having to be there in person.
2020 has encouraged significant innovation and uptake of technology. Personally, I’ve found it exciting to see how quickly organisations have adapted to the challenges in front of them.
Even if (and hopefully) things return to some kind of normalcy in 2021, people will now want the option to enjoy events and receive information both in person and online.
So online delivery of content is going to ramp up. This means more videos, more live streaming and more 360 walk throughs of spaces.
We’ve certainly had a busy 2020 and have been pleased to unpack our live event experience for the current times. With an extensive background in stage managing international conferences and major Award nights, Sonic Sight was able to easily transition back into the live delivery of events.
2021 is not the time to take a step backward. People will be expecting to have the choice of viewing their events online. This also means your message can reach a much wider audience than ever before. We are no longer limited by postcodes.
I have seen dance schools shut down only to reopen online weeks later to an international student base. I have seen international families join in with school tours that previously would have been too far away to attend.
I hope you have survived the challenges of 2020 and are able to take a well-earned break over the coming weeks.
See you in 2021.
